The information technology revolution has given a vision of the future in which technological tools can be used to enhance civil society, enrich life pattern by trapping the broader social benefits of the Internet, arid move beyond the digital opportunity.
2- Role of IT in Development: Information Technology is often thought of as software exports. This is incorrect since in this day and age. It is all pervasive. Others Technology usually involve massive infrastructure investments, sophisticated technologies and a critical number of highly qualified professionals.
4. Steps Needed to be taken for it Revolution: The IT revolution is the fasted emerging revolution seen by the human race. Over vision for the future should seen a whole bread of IT professionals working in various sectors of the country. For this we need to develop a conductive atmosphere of information Technology in the country. This should include computer access and computer literacy at all levels. This can be achieved by making it accessible at the grass roots level.
Following strategies are helpful in this regard: Creating the awareness and importance of IT in the less fortunate areas.
Persuading all sector of the society to realize the importance IT and their specific role to play.
Developing IT awareness institutes in various parts of the country.
Developing a contributing chain mechanism where every one plays his role.
